Terms of Service
Last updated: November 4, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms are an agreement between the operator of the SwitchDoctor service (“we”) and you. By using the website, the app or the customer account you accept them. If you accept on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
2. Paddle is our reseller
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
3. The service
SwitchDoctor is software for monitoring and diagnosing network switches. It is installed on your computer or server and works inside your network; the licence cloud and the customer account manage plans and licences. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own or your organisation’s internal needs for the term of your plan.
4. Plans and prices
- Free — free, no time limit, up to 3 devices.
- Paid plans — paid in advance for a month or a year. Current prices are shown on the pricing page in US dollars; taxes for your country are calculated at checkout.
- Business — on an individual contract.
- Trial — 14 days of Team, once per organisation, no card required. When it ends without payment, the account moves to Free.
5. Renewal and cancellation
We do not charge your card automatically. Each payment covers one paid period (a month or a year). Before the period ends we send a reminder, and you extend the plan by paying again in your account. If you do not renew, the plan’s features are kept for 7 more days after the period ends, then the account moves to Free. To decline renewal in advance, click “Turn off renewal” in your account: the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. If we change prices, the new price applies only to payments made after the change.
6. Licence and devices
- The number of monitored devices is limited by your plan.
- The app checks the licence over the internet regularly and keeps working without a connection for up to 30 days.
- A licence can be moved to another computer up to 6 times a year.
- You may not bypass licence checks, modify the app to remove limits, or resell or sublicense it.
7. Your responsibilities
Use SwitchDoctor only on networks and equipment you are authorised to manage, keep your passwords safe and comply with applicable laws.
8. Actions on your equipment
Actions that change your equipment (for example PoE restart, port shutdown, saving the configuration) run only after you confirm them. You decide whether to run them, so we recommend keeping configuration backups. Diagnostics are recommendations: the app labels facts, hypotheses and advice separately.
9. Warranty and liability
The service is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it working and accurate but do not guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or network downtime. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot be limited by law.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend an account that breaches these Terms. You may stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time.
11. Refunds
See our Refund Policy.
12. Changes
We publish changes on this page. We notify account holders by email of significant changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
13. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. We will try to resolve any dispute by negotiation first. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of their country of residence.
